Technology

The latest advancements in technology give us an opportunity to provide you with the best, most up-to-date dental care possible.

Here are some of the ways we use technology in our Richmond, IN dental office to increase our accuracy, success rates, and the esthetics of your smile.

Digital Dental X-Rays

Digital dental x-rays provide high-resolution images used in the diagnosis of dental decay and other common dental conditions. Digital dental x-rays are also extremely safe and emit up to 90 percent less radiation than traditional film x-rays.

Electric Handpieces

The sound of old-school dental handpieces were enough to make anyone's hair stand on end. We use high-tech electric handpieces that not only give you a calmer, quieter experience, but also provide greater accuracy and comfort.

CEREC Same-Day Crowns

CEREC same-day crowns allow us to eliminate the cost of a middle man in the creation of your restorations without compromising on quality or appearance. Our dentist oversees the process of creating dental restorations right here in our Richmond, IN dental office so you can have your permanent restoration on the same day!

We use CAD/CAM technology to scan your tooth into our software, which will create your dental crown out of highly durable and esthetic ceramic at your appointment.

3-D Cone Beam Imaging

Cone beam imaging provides us with a high-resolution 3-D view of your bone, teeth, jaw, and bite. We can even use it to track the motion of your jaw, which is useful in the treatment of jaw disorders. For dental implant placement, 3-D cone beam imaging gives us the most accurate information about your bone available.

Sirona Virtual Jaw Tracking

Sirona software shows us the movements of your jaw, providing us with valuable information about the treatment that will work best for your jaw pain and headaches.
